Start Planning As Soon As Possible

It’s important to start the wedding planning early! There are so many different options, vendors, and location, that you want to make sure you are making the best decision for you and your soon to be spouse. Rushing will make you feel like your trying to get task complete verse experience the wedding process.


Enlist the help others

Don’t try to plan this wedding on your own! Get help, especially if you are not good at planning events. Hiring an event planner can greatly save you money, and save you the stress. There are different packages that event planner have that can make it affordable to different type of brides. If you are great at planning maybe you just need a day of coordinator, but if you feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start then full wedding planning is for you.


Get real about your budget

Let’s be realistic, wedding are getting very expensive for a one day event. However, some areas in your budget you cannot DIY. For example, if your having a traditional wedding which is about 5-6 hours or more, please make sure you feed your guest. Food is important and cutting cost in this area is hard to do. However some decor areas can be DIY but look as if a florist did the work. If you want it all then lets budget and plan it out realistically, planning out 12-18 month ahead is a good time to have a monthly saving budget to make sure you can have all vendors paid up before the big day!


Figure out what's most important about your big day

Remember it’s one day! You have the rest of your life to be with your spouse and don’t stress over the small things that people will not notice. The most important thing is to make sure you get down the aisle! Of course traditions are very important and make sure your event planner is aware of your must do list.


Have a self-care plan

Making sure you get enough self-care time before the big day is very important. If you are too stressed days before your wedding it can pop up in different ways such as on your skin, not eating right or over eating, looking very tired, and mentally not able to handle simple task.
